Description
The practice of storing water in a copper vessel is an ancient Ayurvedic practice that has been revered for many years for the health benefits it brings. Long before modern methods of water purification came about, people were using copper to cleanse our precious commodity of water. Copper is known to ionize, alkalize and purify your water.
The benefits of copper include having strong antioxidant properties which assists in the eradication of the free radicals that are known to be cancer causing. Copper is known to be anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory. There are many other added benefits as well, including assisting in maintaining a healthy heart, brain, and joints.
Ideally your water should be stored in a copper vessel overnight or at least 6 – 8 hours prior to drinking. We also recommend drinking 1 litre of copper infused water per day.
